Veteran Affairs & Rehabilitation Program
Veterans should never face the VA Benefits, Health, or Cemetery systems alone. Using an Accredited Veteran Service Officer to file a claim could mean the difference between being approved or not approved in a timely manner.
Service Member and Veteran Support
The American Legion Department of Michigan has created a financial assistance program for active duty military, Michigan National Guard, and Veterans of all eras. The Michigan Returning and Wounded Warrior Fund seeks to help those with financial trouble caused by transitioning, deployments, or hard times.
Boys State
Boys State is an educational program sponsored by the American Legion Departments across the country to help young men learn about government and how it works. Our motto is "Learn by Doing".
Since 1993
Veterans Serving Veterans
The American Legion has been serving veterans since 1919. The veterans returning from World War I knew they would continue to serve and continue to help the men and women they served next too.
The Michigan American Legion Foundation is here to help the American Legion, Department of Michigan continue that mission.
Michigan is home to over 500,000 veterans. We have VA accredited Department Veteran Service officers to guide them through the VA system. Your financial help is appreciated.
Help us continue the mission.
